Year 6 thouroughly enjoyed the time they spent learning about Islam this morning. We started our trip with a session about the 5 Pillars of Islam...
The first EVER 6W challenge - the first member of 6W to post a comment with the 5 pillars of Islam in the correct order wins housepoints!
We moved onto a session looking at the prophets - Did you know...124,000 Prophets are said to have spread the word of Allah to every generation of every country!
We saw some models of important Mosques, we really liked the model of Mecca- the aerial photos we saw showed us just how big it really is!
Without a doubt, the best part of our trip was the session where we got to try on different items of clothes!

The Islamic center was great fun and I thought it was great for education.
The islamic center was really fun.Before i went i thought it would be boring but it was really fun and intresting.My favirote bit was the dressing up we all look cool !(LOL)
